Biofloc technology (BFT): An alternative aquaculture system for prevention of Cyprinid herpesvirus 2 infection in gibel carp (Carassius auratus gibelio)

In conclusion, BFT could improve growth, immune response and disease resistance of gibel carp, and the effect was related with TSS concentration. The optimal TSS concentration of 600–800 mg L−1 was recommended in the present study. (Source: Fish and Shellfish Immunology)
