IL-33 drives influenza-induced asthma exacerbations by halting innate and adaptive anti-viral immunity

IL-33 is implicated in asthma exacerbation but its role is unclear. We demonstrate that IL-33 drives influenza-induced asthma exacerbation suppressing anti-viral innate and adaptive responses in immune and epithelial cells.
