Atopic eczema and major cardiovascular outcomes: a systematic review and meta-analysis of population-based studies

There was a significant and increased relative risk of 1.15 for the association between increasing atopic eczema severity and angina, myocardial infarction, heart failure, stroke, ischaemic stroke and cardiovascular death, demonstrating evidence of a dose response relationship.
