HLA-C*06:02 genotype is a predictive biomarker of biologic treatment response in psoriasis

In a large observational study, psoriasis patients lacking the susceptibility allele HLA-C*06:02 demonstrate significantly better response to adalimumab than ustekinumab. The effect is stronger than at other HLA alleles and varies with psoriatic arthritis status. (Source: Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology)
