Montelukast does not increase the risk of neuropsychiatric disease in children with asthma: a nationwide population-based cohort study

Montelukast, a leukotriene receptor antagonist, is one of the most common medication used in childhood asthma. Since March 2008, there have been concerns about a possible risk of neuropsychiatric disease during Montelukast use, However, former conflicting evidence bothered both clinicians and parents of children with asthma.
