Dietary gossypol reduced intestinal immunity and aggravated inflammation in on-growing grass carp (Ctenopharyngodon idella)

The fish were fed six diets containing different levels of free gossypol (0, 121.38, 243.94, 363.89, 759.93 and 1162.06 mg/kg diet) from gossypol-acetic acid for 60 days and then challenged with Aeromonas hydrophila for 14 days.
