The intestinal metabolome reflects biological consequences of diverse exposures and may provide insight into asthma pathophysiology. We performed an untargeted integrative analysis of the intestinal metabolome of childhood asthma in this ancillary study of the Vitamin D Antenatal Asthma Reduction Trial (VDAART).
