We show that CSF3 expression in bronchial biopsies correlates with neutrophilic inflammation and Muc5AC in poorly controlled asthma and in vivo, CSF3R signalling governs excessive infection-dependent neutrophilic inflammation and mucus dependent airways hyper-reactivity in mice.
