The National Rifle Association's ruffled an awful lot of feathers last week on Twitter by telling doctors to "stay in their lane" rather than to publish studies pushing for gun control. The medical community is certainly not taking the comment laying down, however. Within a matter of days, a new Twitter account was born using the handle @ThisIsOurLane, and the account already has more than 8,000 followers. It all started with this NRA editorial accompanied by the organization's tweet that says, "Someone should tell self-important anti-gun doctors to stay in their lane.
