Frequency of allergic symptoms during build-up and maintenance phases of peanut oral immunotherapy

Peanut oral immunotherapy (POIT) is an effective treatment for desensitizing peanut allergic patients, but the frequency of adverse reactions has limited its widespread use in clinical practice. This study reviews the frequency of allergic symptoms POIT patients experienced at a food allergy treatment center.
