The Somatostatin specific Yolk antibody (IgY) and polyclonal antibody were available to Somatostatin-conjugated KLH immunized rabbits and chickens used to construct the sandwich ELISA for the measurement of Somatostatin. The limit of detection was 0.1 μg/mL and the half maximal inhibitory concentration (IC50) was 0.859 μg/mL.
