We report on a case of severe intra-operative anaphylactic shock immediately following irrigation of breast tissue with bacitracin solution. Sequential skin testing with dilutions of bacitracin ointment was used to confirm IgE-mediated drug allergy to bacitracin. (Source: Annals of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology)
