Our aim was to evaluate whether three polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) compounds (hexadimethylsiloxane, octamethyltrisiloxane, decamethylcyclopentasiloxane) used in silicone rods could exert toxic effects on an in vitro neuronal cell model (PC12).
