Identification of Type 3 Innate Lymphoid Cells (ILC3) in Oral Squamous Cell Carcinoma and their Correlation with Lymph Node Metastasis

Introduction: Metastasis to the lymph nodes in oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) represents increased mortality and morbidity. Type 3 innate lymphoid cells (ILC3) may be involved in the mechanisms leading to lymph node metastasis and prove a useful target for pre-operative histological analysis to inform treatment in clinically N0 patients.
