Event-related potentials (ERPs) were recorded from 22 non-impaired readers and 18 dyslexic readers performing dichotic nonsense consonant-vowel (CV) syllables and dichotic vowels target detection tasks. Evidence of altered patterns of behavioral speech lateralization was found in the dyslexic group mainly for the CV syllables task.
