Apple to launch Health Records eHR mobile app in U.S. Veterans Affairs deal

Apple (NSDQ:AAPL) said yesterday that it is preparing to launch its new Health Records mobile electronic health records feature for U.S. Veterans as part of a partnership with the U.S. Veteran's Health Administration. With the launch, veterans will be able to view their aggregated health records directly through the iHealth application on their iPhone devices, the tech giant said. Health record data will include allergies, conditions, immunizations, lab results, medications, procedures and vitals and will be displayed alongside other data, including fitness and active monitoring data from connected devices, the company said.
