There is strength in numbers: A call to develop new collaborations

When I was a naïve undergraduate science student reading journals such as Cell and Nature, I was intrigued by how multiple research papers focused on similar topics "coincidentally" ended up being published within the same monthly journal issues, and oftentimes in sequence. It wasn't until years later that I had my "aha moment", and this was only after understanding the process of scientific publication through my participation as an Oral Pathology Section Editorial Board member of Oral Surgery, Oral Medicine, Oral Pathology, Oral Radiology (OOOO).
