Epinephrine use with oral food challenges versus food oral immunotherapy in clinical practice

Oral food challenges (OFC) are the accepted gold standard for diagnosis of food allergy and have a reported rate of anaphylaxis of 2%. Office based oral immunotherapy (OIT) is becoming more prevalent. The rates of anaphylaxis that require epinephrine with OIT has not been compared to OFC 's.
