Comparison of white and blue light assessment of the upper and lower palpebral conjunctiva

Papillary changes of the palpebral conjunctiva, often described as papillae, lid roughness, or giant papillary conjunctivitis (GPC), are morphological changes in the tissue which can occur in the upper and/or lower eyelid [1,2]. Though the aetiology is still unclear, papillary changes have been associated with ocular allergy and with contact lens wear [3]. The latter is often also referred to as contact lens induced papillary conjunctivitis (CLPC) [3], which can be either localized or general [3]. (Source: Contact Lens and Anterior Eye)
